Working Holiday Season

Working Holiday Season is upon us, or rather visa season is upon us.  All Canadian visas become available in December.  A lot of those visas require police records.  Police records take 6 weeks.  Putting together the application takes 1-2 weeks.  The whole inquiry and payment process typically takes 2 weeks.  This means that we should aim to have bookings confirmed by the end of September.

Germans: working holiday registration needs to be confirmed by October 1st

French: bookings can go as late as February 1st

British: Non-student – no later than October 1st (visas run out in January and these take extra time to process).

British: Student – February 1st

Italian: March 1st

Dutch: February 1st

Belgian: March 1st
