Post grad visas are available for any person studying at a public post-secondary institution in Canada. They are also available at a few ’select’ private post secondary institutions like Sprott Shaw Community College ( we work with them ).
These visas are open to people who have graduated from programs that are 8 months or longer. At the end of their programs, they get an open work visa. If you take a two year program, you will get a 3-year work visa. Previously you required a job offer in your industry before you could apply for a visa. Now any person with a diploma can apply – no job offer required.
