Financial Services Internship

Leading independent full service investment dealer is looking to offer opportunities for Marketing/Finance Sales Assistants positions for its Private Banking division in the Vancouver Branch.

Length of position: Ongoing ( minimum 3 months)

Duties: To assist an Investment Advisor in the promotion of financial services and products including:

Marketing: development and implementation of marketing projects for individuals and corporations, database compilation, prospect contact, portfolio proposals, presentation preparation, organization of marketing materials, follow up on marketing efforts and various campaigns via telephone, appointments booking, misc. admin as required, participation to marketing campaign, seminar presentation development, research of information sources and reports material.

Qualifications: University degree: B.Com, ( specialty: Finance, Marketing)

Computer skills: Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook

Aptitudes: Organizational, communication and writing skills, able to multi-task and perform under pressure and set deadlines, able to deal with conflict and problem solve, must be personable and diplomatic, highly service oriented, attentive to detail and accuracy, positive disposition, analytical mind, excellent presentation, maturity and flexibility.
