Foreign affairs has finally given some idea when the long awaited Polish Working Holiday visas will be available:
On 14 July 2008 Canada and Poland signed an agreement that will allow young people between the ages of 18 and 35 to apply for work permits in order to work temporarily in Canada. The agreement is subject to approval by the Canadian Parliament. Moreover, a number of administrative steps will have to be undertaken in Canada before this program will officially open. The program may not be ready to receive applications until early 2009.
